  • 1 cup broccoli, chopped

  • 2 tablespoons light brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Sambal Oelek chili paste
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh chives, chopped

Instructions

  1. Prepare Sauce:
    • In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, sesame oil, light brown sugar, rice wine vinegar, Sambal Oelek chili paste, and minced ginger until well combined. Set aside.
  2. Prep Ingredients:
    • Dice the chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces.
    • If not already chopped, prepare your broccoli and chives accordingly.
  3. Cook Chicken:
    • Heat 1 tablespoon of cooking oil over medium heat in a large skillet or wok. Add the diced chicken and sauté for approximately 10 minutes or until no longer pink.
  4. Cook Broccoli:
    • Add the chopped broccoli to the skillet with the chicken. Continue cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes or until the broccoli is tender but still vibrant in color.
