Ingredients

For the Pasta

  • 8 ounces dry rotini pasta
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup diced pickles
  • ½ cup finely chopped onions
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (for garnish)

 For the Big Mac Sauce

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 4 tablespoons dill pickle relish
  • 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
  • 1 tsp white vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika (or smoked paprika if you prefer)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Cook the Pasta

Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Cook pasta until al dente, drain, and set aside, reserving 1 cup of pasta water.

Prepare the Ground Beef

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook ground beef, breaking it apart, and season with salt and pepper. Once browned, set aside.

Make the Big Mac Sauce

In a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, dill pickle relish, mustard, white wine vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.

Combine Ingredients

In a large bowl, mix pasta, ground beef, shredded lettuce, cheddar cheese, diced pickles, and chopped onions. Pour the Big Mac sauce over and toss. If dry, add reserved pasta water as needed.

Heat the Dish

Transfer the mixture to the skillet and heat for 3-5 minutes.

Garnish and Serve

Sprinkle sesame seeds on top and serve.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta and ground beef.

Add shredded lettuce, cheddar cheese, diced pickles, and chopped onions.

Pour the Big Mac sauce over the pasta mixture.

Gently toss everything together until well mixed. If the mixture seems dry, gradually add the reserved pasta water to reach desired consistency.

Transfer the pasta mixture to the skillet used for cooking beef. Heat over medium heat for about 3-5 minutes, or until the dish is heated through.

Sprinkle sesame seeds over the top for garnish.
