- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup diced pickles
- ½ cup finely chopped onions
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (for garnish)
For the Big Mac Sauce
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 4 tablespoons dill pickle relish
- 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
- 1 tsp white vinegar
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika (or smoked paprika if you prefer)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving 1 cup of pasta water.
Prepare the onion, pickles, cheese, and lettuce.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef, breaking it apart with a spatula. Season with salt and pepper. Cook until the beef is thoroughly browned and cooked through. Remove from heat and set aside.
In a medium bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet pickle relish, yellow mustard, white wine vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika until well combined. Set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta and ground beef.
Add shredded lettuce, cheddar cheese, diced pickles, and chopped onions.
Pour the Big Mac sauce over the pasta mixture.
Gently toss everything together until well mixed. If the mixture seems dry, gradually add the reserved pasta water to reach desired consistency.
Transfer the pasta mixture to the skillet used for cooking beef. Heat over medium heat for about 3-5 minutes, or until the dish is heated through.
