  • Fresh asparagus spears, trimmed
  • Olive oil for brushing
  • Cajun seasoning
  • Fresh lime juice

Instructions

Prepare the Walleye

Lightly brush both sides of walleye fillets with olive oil. Generously sprinkle Cajun seasoning. Drizzle fresh lime juice over the fillets to coat them well.

Prepare the Asparagus

Toss asparagus spears in a bowl with olive oil until evenly coated. Sprinkle with Cajun seasoning and drizzle with fresh lime juice. Toss again to distribute the flavors.

Grill Time

Preheat the grill to 375°F (190°C). Lay walleye fillets and asparagus spears on the grill. Grill for about 15 minutes, turning the asparagus occasionally. The walleye is done when it flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).

Serve & Enjoy

Plate the grilled walleye and asparagus. Serve with Cajun rice or a fresh salad for a complete meal.

Tip

For richer flavor, marinate the walleye in olive oil, Cajun seasoning, and lime juice for 20-30 minutes before grilling.
