Instructions

Burger Mixture:

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, Cajun seasoning, dried parsley, paprika, cumin, onion powder, garlic powder, and finely diced shallot or red onion. Mix until well combined.

Form Patties:

  • Divide the chicken mixture into 4 equal portions. Shape each portion into a ball and then flatten using a burger press to create 4 patties.

Cooking the Burgers:

  • Preheat your grill or skillet over medium heat. If using a grill, cook the burgers at 400°F for about 20 minutes or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F. If using a skillet, cook the burgers over medium heat until fully cooked. Remember to flip the burgers halfway through cooking.

Toast the Buns:

  • Lightly toast the Brioche buns on the grill or in a skillet until golden brown.

  • In a blender or food processor, combine the Greek yogurt, avocado, minced garlic, lemon juice, sea salt, black pepper, chopped parsley, and olive oil. Blend until smooth and creamy.

Assemble the Burgers:

  • Place a chicken burger on the bottom half of each toasted bun. Generously spread the Avocado Yogurt Sauce over the burgers. Top with sliced red onion and red leaf lettuce. Cap each burger with the top half of the bun.

Add Cajun seasoning, dried parsley, paprika, cumin, onion powder, and garlic powder to ground chicken in a mixing bowl.

Stir mixture together.

Add diced shallots and blend in mixture.

Form into 4 patties using a burger press.

Grill at 400 degrees about 20 minutes or until internal temp reaches 165 degrees.
