Ingredients
For Stir Fry
- 1 pound boneless pork loin chops, thinly sliced
- 2 pears, cored and thinly sliced
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 thumb-sized piece of ginger, grated
- 1-2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Green onions, chopped (for garnish)
- Toasted sesame seeds (for garnish)
For Sauce
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon honey
Instructions
Prepare the Ingredients
In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, and sugar/honey. Slice pork, pears, bell pepper, and onion. Mince garlic and grate ginger.
Cook the Pork
Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat. Add pork slices, season with salt and pepper, and stir-fry for 4-5 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove pork from wok and set aside.
Stir-Fry Vegetables
Add more oil if needed, then stir-fry onion and bell pepper for 2-3 minutes until softened. Add garlic and ginger, stir-fry for 1 minute. Add pears and stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until slightly softened but still crisp.
Combine and Finish Cooking
Return pork to the wok with vegetables. Pour sauce over the stir-fry and toss, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes until well-coated and sauce thickens.
Serve
Serve over cooked rice, garnished with chopped green onions and toasted sesame seeds.

Heat a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat and add 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Add the pork slices and season with salt and pepper. Stir-fry until they’re browned and cooked through, which should take about 4-5 minutes.
Remove the pork from the wok and set aside.
Add a bit more oil to the wok if needed, then add the onion and bell pepper. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until they start to soften.
Add the garlic and ginger, stir-frying for an additional minute.
Add the sliced pears and stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until they soften slightly but still retain some crispness.
Add the cooked pork back into the wok with the vegetables.
Pour the sauce over the stir-fry and toss everything together, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes. Ensure everything is well-coated and the sauce has slightly thickened.
