Alfredo Sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 ounces regular fat cream cheese
  • 1 minced garlic clove
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 cup shredded parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Prepare butter, heavy cream, and cream cheese in a saucepan
  2. Prepare seasoning blend
  3. Prepare grated parmesan cheese
  4. In a medium saucepan add butter, heavy whipping cream, and cream cheese. Cook over medium heat and whisk until melted.
  5. Add the minced garlic, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Continue to whisk until smooth.
  6. Add the parmesan cheese.  Bring to a simmer and continue to cook for about 3-5 minutes or until it starts to thicken.

Prepare the minced garlic and seasonings.

Prepare the shredded parmesan cheese.

In a medium saucepan add butter, heavy whipping cream, and cream cheese.

Cook over medium heat and whisk until melted.

Add the minced garlic, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.

Continue to whisk until smooth.

Add the parmesan cheese.

Stir and bring to a simmer and continue to cook for about 3-5 minutes or until it starts to thicken.
