Total Time

Pizza Dough (makes 1 large 14–16″ pizza)
2 ¼ tsp active dry yeast (1 packet)
1 tsp sugar
¾ cup warm water (100–110°F)
2 cups all-purpose flour (plus more for kneading)
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp olive oil

Burger Sauce Base
½ cup ketchup
¼ cup mayonnaise
1 tbsp yellow mustard
1 tbsp pickle juice (optional)
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Pinch of garlic powder and onion powder

Toppings
6 strips bacon, cooked and chopped
1 lb ground beef, cooked and seasoned with salt and pepper
8 ounces shredded cheddar cheese
8 ounces shredded mozzarella (for meltiness)
½ cup dill pickle slices
¼ small red onion, thinly sliced
Optional: chopped tomatoes, shredded lettuce (added after baking)

Make the Dough

In a bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let sit 5–10 min until foamy. Add flour, salt, and olive oil. Mix until it forms a shaggy dough. Knead on a floured surface for 5–8 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place in a lightly oiled bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.

Prepare Sauce and Toppings

Mix all burger sauce ingredients in a bowl and set aside. Cook bacon until crisp. Drain and chop. Cook ground beef in a skillet with a bit of salt and pepper. Drain fat and let cool.

Assemble the Pizza

Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C) with a pizza stone or steel if you have one. Roll out dough on parchment to a 14–16” circle or rectangle. Spread the burger sauce in a thin layer over the dough. Sprinkle half the cheese, then add ground beef and bacon. Add remaining cheese, onions, and pickles.

Bake

Slide the pizza (with parchment) onto the hot stone or baking sheet. Bake for 12–15 minutes until crust is golden and cheese is bubbling.

Optional Fresh Toppings (After Baking)

Sprinkle with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, or extra pickles if desired. Drizzle with extra burger sauce.
