6 large eggs
1/4 cup milk (for fluffier eggs)
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
1/3 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1/3 cup fresh basil leaves, finely chopped
1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, sliced

Optional Garnishes and Sides
Extra basil leaves for garnish
Slices of avocado for serving

Preparing the Egg Mixture
In a mixing bowl, crack 6 large eggs and add ¼ cup whole milk for a softer, fluffier texture. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste, then whisk thoroughly until the mixture is smooth and slightly frothy. Stir in ⅓ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese and ⅓ cup finely chopped fresh basil leaves, mixing until evenly distributed.

Cooking the Eggs
Heat a nonstick skillet over medium-low heat and melt 1 tablespoon unsalted butter until it is fully melted and just beginning to foam. Pour in the egg mixture and let it sit undisturbed for a few seconds, then gently stir with a spatula, pushing the eggs from the edges toward the center to form soft curds. Continue cooking slowly, stirring occasionally, until the eggs are mostly set but still slightly creamy.

Adding the Tomatoes
When the eggs are nearly finished, gently fold in ½ cup sliced cherry tomatoes, allowing them to warm through for about 30–60 seconds without overcooking the eggs. Remove from heat while the eggs are still soft, as they will continue to cook slightly from residual heat.

Assembling and Serving
Transfer the eggs to a plate and finish with additional fresh basil leaves if desired. Serve immediately with optional slices of avocado on the side for added richness and contrast.
