For the Beef
1 lb ground beef
Salt and pepper, to taste
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder

For the Bowl
2 cups shredded green leaf lettuce, or romaine
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup diced dill pickles
1/2 small white onion, finely diced
1 medium tomato, diced

For the Special Sauce
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 tbsp ketchup
1 tbsp yellow mustard
1 tbsp minced pickles + pinch of sugar
1/2 tsp white vinegar
1/2 tsp onion powder
Pinch of paprika

Cooking the Beef
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add 1 lb ground beef. Season with salt and pepper to taste, ½ teaspoon garlic powder, and ½ teaspoon onion powder. Cook for about 5–7 minutes, breaking the meat apart as it browns, until fully cooked and slightly caramelized. Drain any excess grease if needed, then set aside.

Preparing the Special Sauce
In a small bowl, whisk together ¼ cup mayonnaise, 1 tablespoon ketchup, 1 tablespoon yellow mustard, 1 tablespoon minced pickles plus a pinch of sugar, ½ teaspoon white vinegar, ½ teaspoon onion powder, and a pinch of paprika until smooth and well combined. Set aside.

Building the Bowl
In a large bowl or individual serving bowls, layer 2 cups shredded green leaf lettuce or romaine as the base. Top with the cooked ground beef, then add 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, ½ cup diced dill pickles, ½ small finely diced white onion, and 1 diced medium tomato.

Finishing and Serving
Drizzle the special sauce generously over the top or serve it on the side. Toss lightly if desired, or leave layered for a composed bowl. Serve immediately while the beef is still warm for the best contrast of flavors and textures.
