Ingredients
2 ripe avocados
1 teaspoon salt
Juice of 1 lime
1 garlic clove, minced
2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, finely chopped
1 jalapeño pepper, finely diced (remove seeds for a milder flavor)
1 teaspoon ground cumin
½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
Tortilla chips, for serving
Instructions
Prepare the Avocados
Halve the avocados, remove the pits, and scoop the flesh into a bowl.
Mash and Season
Add salt and lime juice, then mash to your preferred consistency—chunky or smooth.
Add Flavor
Stir in minced garlic, chopped cilantro, diced jalapeño, cumin, and cayenne until well combined.
Chill
Cover with plastic wrap pressed directly against the surface to prevent browning. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
Serve
Stir before serving. Enjoy with tortilla chips.
