Total Time

Pizza Dough (makes 1 large 14–16″ pizza)
2 ¼ tsp active dry yeast (1 packet)
1 tsp sugar
¾ cup warm water (100–110°F)
2 cups all-purpose flour (plus more for kneading)
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp olive oil

Burger Sauce Base
½ cup ketchup
¼ cup mayonnaise
1 tbsp yellow mustard
1 tbsp pickle juice (optional)
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Pinch of garlic powder and onion powder

Toppings
6 strips bacon, cooked and chopped
1 lb ground beef, cooked and seasoned with salt and pepper
8 ounces shredded cheddar cheese
8 ounces shredded mozzarella (for meltiness)
½ cup dill pickle slices
¼ small red onion, thinly sliced
Optional: chopped tomatoes, shredded lettuce (added after baking)

Preparing the Dough
In a bowl, dissolve 2¼ teaspoons active dry yeast and 1 teaspoon sugar in ¾ cup warm water (100–110°F). Let sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy. Add 2 cups all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon salt, and 1 tablespoon olive oil, mixing until a dough forms. Knead for about 5–7 minutes, adding a little flour if needed, until smooth and elastic. Cover and let rise for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.

Making the Burger Sauce
In a bowl, whisk together ½ cup ketchup, ¼ cup mayonnaise, 1 tablespoon yellow mustard, 1 tablespoon pickle juice (optional), 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce, and a pinch of garlic powder and onion powder until smooth. Set aside.

Cooking the Toppings
Cook 6 strips bacon until crispy, then chop into pieces. In a skillet over medium heat, cook 1 lb ground beef with salt and pepper to taste until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess grease and set aside.

Shaping the Dough
Preheat your oven to 450°F. Punch down the dough and roll it out on a floured surface into a 14–16″ pizza. Transfer to a baking sheet or pizza stone.

Assembling the Pizza
Spread a layer of the burger sauce over the dough. Sprinkle 8 oz shredded mozzarella and 8 oz shredded cheddar cheese evenly across the surface. Add the cooked ground beef and chopped bacon, followed by ½ cup dill pickle slices and ¼ small thinly sliced red onion.

Baking
Bake for about 10–12 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Finishing and Serving
Remove from the oven and, if desired, top with chopped tomatoes and shredded lettuce for a fresh burger-style finish. Slice and serve warm.
